The Pool Protector is an electronic pool monitoring system that analyzes the pool's surface. Drowning is the number one cause of death for children aged 1-4 in California. More than 900 children between 1 and 14 die each year in drowning accidents. The Pool Protector is an easy to use, portable light-weight unit that is operated by a magnetic key. The Pool Protector pool alarm is powered by a 9-volt battery (not included) that has a one year run time. When the Pool Protector pool alarm's electronic sensor triggers the alarm will sound a loud, pulsating audible alarm both at the pool unit and at the remote receiver inside your home. The Pool Alarm installation is very easy. It sits on the pool deck as shown in the picture. After you install the Pool Alarm, it can't be deactivated; it is always in the alarm ready mode until you put it in Sleep Mode. The Pool Alarm's remote receiver can be mounted in your home up to 200 feet from the main unit and comes with a 12 volt power supply. There is an audible low battery indicator which will sound at the poolside alarm and the remote receiver.
